“Associação Amigos da Vila Marcelo” is a non-profit organization formalized in April 2019, serving 60 children and adolescents aged 9 to 16 after school hours. We aim to promote the social inclusion of those we assist, encouraging them to pursue education. We believe that sports can make a difference in people’s lives and have the power to shape character.
Projects
- Martial Arts: Jiu-jitsu classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays; Judo and boxing on Wednesdays and Fridays.
- Cinema at Sedinha: Recognizing the lack of leisure activities in the neighborhood, we created the cinema at Sedinha, featuring screenings every 15 days of movies for our participants.
- Interactive Games: Games involving 2 or more participants, designed to be enjoyable for children and to foster their interest in playful activities and development.
