CEPROMM is a non-profit Civil Society Organization (CSO) working for the protection of the rights of children and adolescents. Located in the Jardim Itatinga neighborhood in Campinas, São Paulo, the organization serves 270 children and adolescents on a daily basis. The region, known for its prostitution activity, facilitates the violation of the rights of children and adolescents. It is to prevent such rights violations that CEPROMM has been operating in the area since 1993.
CEPROMM’s mission is to provide means that promote the full life of children, adolescents, and women in situations of social risk, especially those exposed to abuse and sexual exploitation.
Projects
Early Childhood Education: “Viva com Ternura” Project – comprehensive care for 90 children aged 2 to 6 years. This project operates in accordance with the educational system, focusing on nurturing, development, and learning.
Coexistence and Strengthening of Bonds: This project is offered as part of basic protection and provides a space for interaction and training for 180 children and adolescents. Its goal is to strengthen the autonomy of those in their care and prepare adolescents for the world of work.
